About Life Story

Senator Philip Tanimu Aduda MFR is a distinguished Nigerian politician, leader, and philanthropist dedicated to the progress of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and beyond. 

With a career spanning decades in public service, he has served as a two-term Member of the House of Representatives and a Senator representing the FCT since 2011. 

Throughout his tenure, he has played a crucial role in legislative development, serving on key committees, including Power, Steel Development, Trade, and Communications.

A champion for education, infrastructure, and social welfare, Senator Aduda has sponsored over 15 bills, including those establishing the FCT University of Technology, Polytechnic Orozo, and Internal Revenue Board. 

His unwavering commitment to grassroots development has earned him numerous awards, including the prestigious National Award of Member of the Federal Republic (MFR).

Beyond politics, he is a sports enthusiast and has served as the Chairman of the Squash Racket Board of the FCT Sports Association. His passion for youth empowerment and community service is reflected in the many traditional titles bestowed upon him by various Chiefdoms. 

A devoted family man, he is married to Princess Hauwa and is blessed with six biological and over 30 adopted children.
